On Friday Sierra's class went to the Mariposa Museum & History Center. Being that we live in the Sierra foothills, most of our history revolves around gold and gold mining.It's really interesting to learn about the various ways they got the gold from the earth. The kids of course, are more interested in the gold panning and how much their haul is worth.
